Jessica, is this a Mitoniopsis? I have one, just a bit differente, mine did have a morvellous profume, but only in the morning on in the light. It is on my blog. Really interesting specie. Hope you portray it and post . thanks ciao
Hi Renata, this is a Miltonia... they are often confused. They are from the Atlantic Forests of Brazil naturally, but mine is from Honselersdijk in the Netherlands! She's called Milly and I love her. I haven't noticed any scent from Milly... maybe she's been bred for colour more so? I saw your blog - looks fabulous. Thanks for commenting.
Thanks mum, she is isn't she?! Got to keep this baby humidified and cool at night (16 degrees). No warmer than 26 degrees celcius in the day. Blooming tricky business. I need a greenhouse.
Renata - I think you are right on second thoughts... sorry! I think this is a Miltoniopsis now too. I have written to the company to confirm it for me though.. Fantastic perfume now the other buds have opened. I see what you mean!
